Intercoiffure welcomes its first and only software company, Software Creations; selected by the elite of the spa and salon industry

Software Creations, the developers of Virtual Spa & Salon web-based software are the first and only software company to become members of Intercoiffure. New members must have a sponsor to be accepted by the Intercoiffure review committee. Software Creations was honored to be sponsored by long time client Richard Calcasola of Maximus Spas and Salons in Long Island and SOHO New York, and newly named Director of Marketing for Intercoiffure.

When asked why the addition of a software company, Richard Calcasola responded, "Software Creations was selected by the top 1% of the spas and salons in the country. Catherine Renaud is known as a leader in the industry and her company provides technology that's new and extremely important to our businesses."

"Two things struck me at this amazing event," said Catherine Renaud. "The vibrancy of the on-stage presentations and the enormous public display of support and respect the members showed for one another. This is a real supportive community. It is clear when anyone has a need they first call each other." The program included an emotional eulogy for peers who have passed and a fund raising drive to help members who had lost everything in hurricane Katrina and collected $28,000 for spa and salon Katrina victims over the weekend. "It was wonderful to witness and I am so proud to be a member."

"It was both heart warming and exciting to watch four long time Software Creation clients like Mark Garrison, present Locks of Love a not-for-profit organization which he supports that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children with medical hair loss. Laurent DuForg from Prive and Billy Yamaguchi displayed their unique passion and flair."

Accompanied by hip music, and a few slick dance moves, he led the audience through an entertaining and inspiring presentation of the different types of women in today's world.
